On this occasion, my colleague Sallie Hughes (from the University of Miami) and I, in our roles as Latin America coordinators, had the opportunity to present a report. This report delineates the progression of fieldwork across the 15 Latin American countries that constitute the third phase of the Worlds of Journalism Study (WJS).

I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to all the coordinators and researchers involved in this endeavor. Your valuable contributions make it possible for us to continue our meaningful work and further our understanding of journalism in these regions. We greatly appreciate being part of this vibrant Hispanic-American academic community.
