I’m thrilled to announce the publication of our new e-book titled «Towards a Knowledge-Based Media Governance.» This valuable resource is a product of MediaDelCom and has been expertly edited by Petra Szávai from Mertek Media Monitor, Hungary.
I had the pleasure of contributing two chapters to this insightful project. The first chapter, «Navigating the Media Matrix,» was co-authored with Epp Lauk from the University of Tartu, Estonia. The second chapter I’ve contributed is «Meta-Analysis Could Be Cool.»
The objective of this e-book is to present in an accessible, engaging manner the risks associated with news media in relation to deliberative communication. It covers findings based on MediaDelCom’s extensive research across 14 different languages.
Moreover, as part of Task 5.6, we will be preparing educational resources and self-learning materials for schools, including this e-book. These resources will be put through rigorous testing and evaluation before being introduced to the curriculum, thereby enabling our youth to be more informed about the media landscape.
